The striker is currently on loan at Genoa, but is expected to terminate that early for a transfer elsewhere after a great start to the season.

The 22-year-old scored six goals in 16 competitive games, along with one assist.

“There are several clubs who want Scamacca, not just Juventus,” Sassuolo director Carnevali told Sportitalia.

“We will meet Juventus, but it’s not so easy for anyone to purchase players at the moment, as the economic crisis hit everybody and the financial aspect is crucial.

“It’s possible Scamacca will go to other clubs who are abroad. He wants to improve himself and we’ll evaluate the situation now, or at the end of the season, while he could even return to us in June.”

The reports suggest Juventus want Scamacca on an 18-month loan with option to buy for €22m.

Juve will meet with Sassuolo directors this evening, as they are playing Napoli for the Supercoppa at their Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia.
