Sassuolo will meet with Inter tomorrow and they’ll reportedly try to close out a deal for talented forward Andrea Pinamonti.

The Neroverdi, who were eliminated from the first round of the Coppa Italia this evening after losing 3-2 to Serie B side Modena, have been in talks with the Nerazzurri for a number of weeks now, desperate to add the 23-year-old Italian striker to their attack. Atalanta, Salernitana and Monza are all also keen to pick up Pinamonti this summer.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Sassuolo and Inter will meet with Pinamonti’s entourage in an attempt to finalise a transfer. The Nerazzurri are hoping to pick up around €18-20m for the 23-year-old and it’s expected that the Emilian club will push to find an agreement tomorrow.

Pinamonti impressed last season on loan with Empoli, scoring 13 goals and providing two assists in 36 Serie A appearances. The completion of this deal could also be decisive in Napoli’s work for Giacomo Raspadori.

  1. This could be another one Inter regret. Strange that they believe spending the guts of 30m on Correa is better than having this guy coming through the youth system.

Inter seem to see their youth players as nothing more than bargaining chips to sell off.

  2. Italian clubs are filth when it comes to home grown youth, Not just inter but more or less all of them, all the foreign players wanted by Italian clubs never ever improve the teams, Serie A really need to wake up, it’s no wonder such a great footballing nation like italy have missed two world cups, total disgrace, too many tin pot traitors in italian football.
