There were chances to win it in stoppages, but Andrea Consigli confirmed his Man of the Match performance with a fingertip save on Jack Bonaventura at the 95th minute.
To make matters worse, Alessio Romagnoli went off injured and Leonardo Bonucci will be suspended against Napoli.
