The Coach has reportedly been on the verge of a move to Juve for weeks now, but the termination of his contract by mutual consent is continually put off.

“Sarri is having problems getting away from Chelsea,” his old Empoli President Corsi told Telelombardia.

“He’s grumbling now and is a bit pessimistic, we heard from him this morning, but Juve told me on Saturday that they trust it'll be done soon. That was Saturday, now it's Wednesday… I hope for everyone's sake this gets resolved.”

Meanwhile, Bianconeri director of sport Fabio Paratici flew out to London this evening and should hold face-to-face talks with Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia.

According to The Sun today, Chelsea are reconsidering their decision to let Sarri go, having seen the unimpressive list of potential replacements, including Frank Lampard and Rafa Benitez.

Corsi knows Sarri well, having given him his first ever Serie A job.
