Napoli will meet Maurizio Sarri to discuss extending his contract after Saturday’s Scudetto showdown with Juventus.

This weekend the top two go head-to-head in Turin with only two points separating them.

The club has an option to extend Sarri’s contract by April, but Mediaset Premium claims President Aurelio De Laurentiis is in a hurry to get the situation sorted out.

Sarri currently earns under €1m per year and considering these results and his popularity with players, especially compared to predecessor Rafa Benitez, a raise is on the cards.

De Laurentiis might even be prepared to sign a longer contract rather than have to activate an option to renew every summer.
