“Have I decided what formation to use against Lazio?” Sarri considered in his post-match Press conference.

“Have I decided what formation to use against Lazio?” Sarri considered in his post-match Press conference.
“Not yet, because there was a break after the Empoli game, so it was easy to prepare this shape for tonight. I’ll consider it tomorrow and the day after, I need to see how the lads are.
“We’re playing again in 72 hours, and there’s not much recovery time. The formation is not decisive, I have certain ideas about how to play football. Those aren’t dependent on the formation.”
Sarri also heaped praise on his goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who returned to the club this summer from Bayern Munich.
“He has great personality, he’s a point of reference in the dressing room. I’m sorry that he plays in goals, he’d be really useful to us in midfield.
“He’s a positive player to have around, I have a very direct relationship with him. He’s the kind of guy who, even if we have an argument, we’ll laugh about it the next day.”
Sarri was also asked whether the fact he has only been given a one-year deal with the club means he’s in greater danger of being sacked.
“In my 25 years as a Coach, I’ve only been sacked once when I had the team since pre-season,” the former Empoli boss informed the room.
“I’ve only been sacked when I’ve taken over from someone.”
