Tuttosport claim that if Chelsea sign Maurizio Sarri, he will want to bring his old Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus.

The Coach has repeatedly been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge this summer and has a release clause worth €8m in his contract.

According to the Turin-based newspaper, if Sarri does take over the Blues, he’ll ask for a reunion with Higuain.

Even after Pipita left Napoli to join Juventus, the mutual respect and admiration between the men never waned and Higuain did say he’d love to work with Sarri again.

In his final season at Napoli, Higuain set a new all-time Serie A record of 36 goals in 35 games.

He then moved to Juve in 2016 when the Bianconeri paid his €90m release clause.

It was recently rumoured that the Turin giants were ready to let Higuain go for €50m, but as they are interested in Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, there could be an exchange.
