Sunday’s clash at the Dino Manuzzi promises to be a hard-fought encounter between the two new boys, but in spite of this, Empoli’s boss is refusing to change his approach.

“It will be an important game, but it can’t be considered a decisive match just yet,” Sarri explained to reporters today.

“During the first two matches, we put in good performances, but unfortunately we were not able to register any points.

“For teams like us, it is essential to get the most out of every match, although we must always keep in mind who we face.

“I expect to meet a team who will battle it out and represent the characteristics of their Coach. It is going to be a different challenge than the ones we’ve already faced, and it may bring out our competitive edge.

“For our part, we should try to play our own game, even while taking into account that we will face an aggressive and vigorous opponent.”
