“Saponara is not making the trip, so we have a few problems,” said Giampaolo in a Press conference.
“He is struggling with a fever, so are Andrea Costa and Marko Livaja. We must be competitive anyway, so hopefully Vincent Laurini and Mario Rui can also recover, as they are not in great shape.
“We are two teams who are having an excellent campaign, but with 19 games to go it would be a stretch to call this a relegation dogfight.
“Chievo are in good shape both physically and psychologically, they are solid and have good options in attack. I think they have been constructed very well, impressed against Roma in that 3-3 draw and are coming off a victorious trip to Bologna.”
