“It feels wonderful,” the former Inter and Newcastle United full-back told Roma TV.
“We know this isn’t our best period of form, but it’s a good opportunity to reboot. We hope to do that this evening in front of our home fans.
“More than to improve our playing style, the Coach asked us to rediscover ourselves and the desire to sacrifice for the greater good.
“The last few days have been very useful in the training retreat so we could spend time together, talk and clear up many things. Tonight has to be the game of a lifetime, as on Saturday there’s the derby with Roma and winning here would fire us up.
“Frosinone will no doubt sit deep, so we’ve got to be careful not to get unbalanced and leave gaps for the counter-attack. With the quality we have, we’ll score a goal, but need to have patience and wait for the right moment.”
