Antonio Sanabria has revealed the reasons behind his move from Barcelona to Roma, admitting it was ‘for the good of myself and my family’.

The Paraguayan teenager left the Spanish giants in January after impressing for their ‘B’ team.

And despite interest from several clubs all over Europe, the striker eventually opted to switch to the Giallorossi.

Antonio Sanabria has revealed the reasons behind his move from Barcelona to Roma, admitting it was ‘for the good of myself and my family’.

“I chose Italy because it was the best choice for me and for my family,” the forward whose currently on loan at Sassuolo” data-scaytid=”3″>Sassuolo told Marca.

“It took me a long time to decide because I was at the best club in the world. I am grateful to Barcelona because they treated me really well.

“I can’t say anything bad about Barca.

“There were a lot of strong players at Barcelona, and at Roma, not so many. What will happen next season? I don’t know.

“I am aware of how difficult it will be to start for Roma, but I am very confident in myself and my abilities.”
