Sampdoria reportedly want Fiorentina’s Josip Ilicic as a replacement for Bruno Fernandes.
It’s expected that Fernandes will join Sporting CP for a fee of €9m plus bonuses, leaving the Blucerchiati with a hole in midfield.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, sporting director Carlo Osti has identified Ilicic as the ideal replacement, and have opened talks with Fiorentina.
The Slovenian international made 29 Serie A appearances last season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
