Salernitana fan club co-ordinators ask for ‘a solution’ after the FIGC temporarily rejected the trust proposal put forward by the club.

Salernitana have until Saturday to resolve the ownership issues and to avoid the risk of exclusion from Serie A next season.

Claudio Lotito must find a solution, as the FIGC reportedly rejected the Lazio and Salernitana owner’s attempt to pass over the ownership to a blind trust.

The fan club reacts in a press release asking the Federcalcio and Lotito to find a solution for the club from Campania.

“Love and a sense of belonging cannot leave us indifferent to the facts that are affecting our beloved Salerno,” the note said.

“The confusion, the whirlwind of news popping up with incessant precision on national and local portals and an opaque corporate communication are characterising the days of the Granata people.

“The Centro Coordinamento Salernitana Clubs doesn’t intend to give way to indifference to what is happening and, therefore, the current directors of the Granata are asked to shed light on the administrative and legal path that Salernitana should lead, in compliance with federal regulations, upon enrolment in the top-flight championship.

“Salerno and the province don’t deserve to be trampled on and to be the object of media looting, we therefore hope that the Granata club and the FIGC will find an adequate solution to a story that is, beyond measure, making an entire fanbase palpitate.”
