Marcelo Salas will be supporting Lazio against Juventus when his two former clubs meet this weekend.

The Serie A joint leaders will face off at the Olimpico on Saturday night and the Chilean will be flying the flag for the Biancocelesti.

“It’ll be a great game and I can’t wait to see it,” he told Il Messaggero on Thursday.

“Juventus boss Antonio Conte was a teammate of mine in Turin and he’s doing a great job so far. It’ll be hard for Lazio.

“However, I’m hoping that Lazio will put in a spectacular display and that they end the night with a victory.”

Salas, who’ll be 37 next month, spent three years at Lazio following his 1998 switch from Argentine side River Plate.

Juventus subsequently netted the striker in 2001, but his disappointing Turin stint was affected by serious injury.
