Mohamed Salah has been voted BBC African Footballer of the Year for 2017 after his performances for Roma and Liverpool.
The 25-year-old topped the poll ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Naby Keita, Sadio Mane and Victor Moses.
"I am very happy to win this award," the 25-year-old told BBC Sport.
"It's always a special feeling when you win something. I feel like I had a great year, so I'm very happy.

Salah took Egypt to the Final of the Africa Cup of Nations in January, then scored a decisive goal for their qualification to the 2018 World Cup.
During 2017, he scored 15 goals with 11 assists for Roma and continued that form with Liverpool after a summer transfer, netting 13 times in his first 16 Premier League appearances.
