Sacchi was talking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli about Napoli's strong start to the season when revealing this.
"[Walter] Mazzarri was good to surround himself with capable and reliable people and the fact is that he is complemented by the club getting important players.
"I recommended Cavani to Ancelotti, he and [Marek] Hamsik have extraordinary elements.
"The great performances against Manchester City, Milan and Inter have shown that Napoli is a great team that, although incomplete in some aspects, remains highly competitive.
"The Azzurri need only fear a loss of motivation and physical condition.
"Napoli in the Champions League? It has allowed them to enter the world football stage, not to mention the economic value of the competition. [Aurelio] De Laurentiis has done well to get them to the top."
