Russian club Kuban Krasnodar have confirmed their bid to sign Adrian Mutu from Fiorentina.
The Romanian has hinted his future could lie elsewhere after a difficult campaign that saw him frozen out for several weeks due to a contract dispute.
“I will not hide that we are interested in Mutu,” Krasnodar Vice-President Ivan Peronko confirmed.
It is reported that the former Juventus and Chelsea man would be offered a contract worth €2.8m per season.
