VFB Stuttgart’s Antonio Rudiger will reportedly arrive in Italy on Monday to complete his move to Roma.

It was reported this morning that the Giallorossi had sealed a deal for the 22-year-old, on loan with the option to buy.

Now Sky is reporting further details of the proposed transfer, stating that Rudiger’s loan will contain clauses which make the purchase mandatory in certain circumstances.

The news outlet believes the deal is worth around €9m in total, and the player will fly to Italy on Monday to officially complete the move.

Roma Coach Rudi Garcia declared he needed three defenders after last night’s friendly win over Sevilla, with Rudiger and Lucas Digne set to fill two of those spaces.
