There was good news for Roma fans as Antonio Rudiger confirmed via Twitter that he was entering the ‘final phase’ of his recovery.
The 23-year-old centre back suffered a cruciate ligament injury whilst training with Germany back in June and has yet to make an appearance for the Giallorossi this season.
“I am entering the final phase of my recovery,” Rudiger told fans via the social media site, before adding #ToniIsBack #NeverGiveUp #AlwaysBelieve and #ComeBackStronger.

The club confirmed the defender was back in training in early September, and are aiming for his imminent return.
