Delio Rossi insists he “cleared the air” with the Roma players after the Sampdoria Coach got into a row in the final minutes.

He was sent off during the 3-1 victory at Marassi following an altercation with Nicolas Andre Burdisso on the touchline.

“I cleared the air with the Roma players, everything is fine. These things happen on the pitch and they end there,” insisted former Lazio” data-scaytid=”13″>Lazio boss Rossi.

“There was no gesture, nor drama, but the tension and irritability of the match situation ends at the final whistle.

“Roma put us under pressure in midfield, where we did not do that well, but this was an important victory against a great team.

“I have some talented players and they have dedicated themselves to my vision completely. A Coach can propose anything he wants, but if the players don’t listen then it’s pointless.”
