England striker Wayne Rooney has insisted that they have to ‘beat the best’ if they are to win the World Cup.
The Three Lions were handed a tough group, placed alongside Uruguay, Costa Rica and Italy.
And the Manchester United forward has claimed that no games in the competition are easy.
"If we want to be the best, we have to beat the best,” he told reporters.
“It’s a tough group but really looking forward to it! Roll on Brazil 2014!”
