According to reports in Spain, his agent Jorge Mendes has discussed a possible return to the Santiago Bernabeu with Real Madrid. A scenario that,  at this stage, is difficult to imagine.

Cristiano Ronaldo costs Juventus €87m-a-year: 58m wages (before taxes) plus €29m amortization costs, which is also the player’s “minimum” price-tag, according to reports in Italy.

On Saturday, Ronaldo broke the silence after Juventus’ Champions League elimination,  but didn’t drop any hint about his future.

“History can’t be deleted, it’s written every single day with resilience, team spirit, persistence and lots of hard work. And those who don’t understand this, will never achieve glory and success,” he wrote on social media.

Andrea Pirlo and Zinedine Zidane have also spoken about CR7, but didn’t touch on his future.

“Here he made History. He’s magnificent. Now he’s a Juve player and I cannot tell you anything about what they are saying,” the Real Madrid coach said.

“It’s natural there are rumours after the elimination, as he is the most important player in the world along with Lionel Messi. He has always done well for us, scoring 90-odd goals and more than proved his worth,” Pirlo added on Saturday.
