The two sides meet in the Champions League final this Saturday, and the Spanish champions are looking to become the first side to retain the trophy since the introduction of the current format.

“I feel good, both physically and mentally,” Ronaldo told Real Madrid TV at the club’s media day.

“All of my teammates are fit and that’s a great thing for the Coach, Zidane. I’m not thinking about scoring and I’m not thinking too much about the game, I try to distract myself so I don’t go into it too fired-up.

“There’s still a long way to go.

“After winning La Liga we have a unique opportunity to win the Champions League twice in a row. Saturday will be a special night and we hope to do everything for the best.

“Will we go into the game with humility? Yes, but not too much. We have to show all of our strength.

“Juventus are a great team, but we know how good we are too.”
