Juve have won Serie A for the past seven years in a row, and the Coppa Italia for the last four, but they lost the Champions League final in 2015 and 2017.

When CR7 was presented, fans sang “bring us the Champions League”, and the striker is doing his best to deliver.

“I swear I will do the impossible to win the Champions League with Juventus,” Ronaldo told reporters in Dubai, where he’ll be given a prize at the Globe Soccer Awards.

“The fans aren’t asking me to save the country though…”
