Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his second Serie A hat-trick in the Juventus jersey, but both of them were against Cagliari.

CR7 took all of 32 minutes to complete his perfect treble in Sardinia, as he scored with his head, converted a penalty with his right foot and then netted with his left.

This was the 57th career hat-trick for the Ballon d’Or winner for club and country.

The only previous one he had registered for Juventus in the league was also against Cagliari, albeit in Turin during a 4-0 victory in January 2020.

Curiously, before this fixture, the Sardegna Arena was the only Serie A stadium where Ronaldo had failed to find the net playing for Juve.

He had just one trip here, losing 2-0 in July 2020, the week after the Scudetto had already been secured.

There was also a hat-trick for Juve in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid.
