Cristiano Ronaldo and his lawyers will be allowed to view documents in the Prisma investigation into Juventus.

La Gazzetta dello Sport details how the preliminary hearing judge has allowed the Portuguese star and his legal team access to the documents they previously highlighted to the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office, which was initially denied.

The former Real Madrid star and his lawyers are taking a look at the now famous ‘Ronaldo agreement’ signed with Juventus back in 2020, when he agreed to receive bonuses at a later date after freezing his wages in the early stages of the COVID pandemic. He is still owed around €19.9m and is keen to receive the money.

The Old Lady are under investigation for their financial practices from 2019 to 2021, with allegations of falsified capital gains and misleading the market with secret player payments. President Andrea Agnelli and the entire board of directors unexpectedly resigned at the end of November and the club are now undergoing a management overhaul.

Juventus’ first meeting with the preliminary hearing judge is not expected to take place before March.

  1. He was also allowed to face alleged rape charges in Las Vegas but hid on his boat In Dubai instead

  2. If you are under investigation and accused (not witness), you are entitled to see everything related to the case… that’s fair imo. However, they will fall/pay for their crimes regardless. Too much evidence.
