Genoa midfielder Romulo wants to beat former side Juventus this weekend even if it will be “very hard”.

The Brazilian spent the 2014-15 season on loan with the Bianconeri, but injury limited him to just five appearances all season.

“The adventure in Turin could have been the best year of my life, but instead…” Romulo said in an interview with Il Secolo XIX.

“I was at Juventus with champions like [Gigi] Buffon and [Andrea] Pirlo, [Antonio] Conte was following me for the national team… but I couldn’t play.

“I often cried with the suffering of having to stay out.

“This weekend? It’s very hard against Juventus, but I want to win.”
