After having donated €250,000 to the AREU (The Agency of Regional Emergency and Urgency), the players and managers at San Siro have now followed suit and decided to donate a part of their salary to help support the people working hard to contain the virus.

“As Milan captain I am proud of what the club has decided to do with the donation to AREU, who are committed daily in the emergency” Romagnoli said according to Tuttomercatoweb. “And doing what many of our fans are asking, to reimburse the tickets purchased for the matches played behind closed doors or postponed in favour of those who are working night and day to face and contain the coronavirus.

“My teammates and I are ready to support them too.”
