The young centre-back missed Milan’s win over Sassuolo at the weekend, leading to fears he would be forced out of the Azzurri squad.

However, Sky is reporting that Romagnoli engaged in the full workout at Coverciano this morning, and is fit for the Spain and Macedonia matches.

It would appear unlikely that the 21-year-old will start against La Roja, with Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci ahead of him, though Giorgio Chiellini's supsension could open the door if CT Giampiero Ventura sticks with a back-three.

If not, the Rossoneri defender could make his international debut against Macedonia.
