“I take responsibility, it didn’t have to happen and without that mistake the game would’ve ended differently.

“I apologise to Milan fans and everyone else, but we'll bounce back. We could’ve killed the game off sooner because in Serie A, you pay for your misgivings.

“Without my mistake. it would’ve been a different game. Now we have to think about beating Sassuolo.

“We lack the ability to kill games off. It was important not to concede a goal, but we weren’t able to.

“Still, the road we’re on is the right one, we must keep working and the results will follow.”
