According to Sport Mediaset, director Walter Sabatini had several meetings in France over the last couple of days.
He was there to discuss Mattia Destro’s move to Monaco, but also sat down with PSG for talks about Van Der Wiel.
The 27-year-old former Ajax man is only under contract until June 2016 and therefore available at a good price.
His versatility is appreciated, as he can play right-back or in a more advanced right wing role.
