Roma are reportedly already looking to make permanent Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa’s loan move from Newcastle United.
The Giallorossi picked up the 25-year-old defender from the Premier League side on an initial season-long loan deal, with an option to buy included.
Whilst that purchase clause is believed to be set at £5.5m, around €7m and in place until the end of the season, talks are apparently already underway between the two clubs over a reduced permanent figure to be defined and paid in the coming days.

The Newcastle Chronicle are leading reports from England on this, whilst suggestions are that the Magpies will be open to selling Yanga-Mbiwa outright for £4m, around €5m.
