According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Tammy Abraham will be available for Thursday’s Europa League clash with RB Salzburg, playing with a protective mask after an eye injury.

The former Chelsea striker had been forced off the pitch in the first half of Roma‘s 1-0 win over Hellas Verona on Sunday and underwent surgery on Monday.

He was expected to miss the Giallorossi’s Europa League clash against RB Salzburg at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, but according to Il Corriere dello Sport, he will be available.

The England international will wear a protective mask shielding the eyelid which was damaged on Sunday.

Abraham partially trained with the group on Monday and will try the protective mask on the pitch on Tuesday in Trigoria.

Paulo Dybala remains in doubt for the game with the Austrians following a muscle injury suffered in the first leg, lost 1-0 by the Giallorossi last week.
