Roma turned down offers for Michael Bradley this summer, the midfielder’s representative has confirmed.

“There were bids from a number of Italian clubs and also an English one,” Alberto Faccini told Centro Suono Sport on Tuesday. “But Roma said no to them all.

“Michael too preferred to remain and fight for his place in the side as he is really happy in Rome.”

The man born in 1987 is currently sidelined with an injury he sustained while on international duty with America.

Bradley, two games for the Giallorossi in 2013-14 so far, is in his second season at the Stadio Olimpico following his transfer from Chievo Verona.
