According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma had a meeting with an intermediary from Manchester City to discuss the possibility of signing Zabaleta, whose agent recently met with Inter's representatives.

The Giallorossi allegedly also contacted the player himself to offer a three-year contract.

Furthermore, the newspaper reports of an interest for Inter's Juan Jesus.

The Brazilian may be picked up on a loan with a compulsory option to buy, and would prove a much less expensive option than his fellow target Jeison Murillo.
