Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco has confirmed that Robin Olsen and Kostas Manolas will miss Friday’s Serie A clash with Chievo.

Speaking at his pre-match Press conference, Di Francesco revealed the pair had knocks but was more positive about Daniele De Rossi’s chances, while singling out Rick Karsdorp and Nicolo Zaniolo for praise.

“Olsen will miss tomorrow’s game with a knock, as will Manolas – but we hope to have both back for Tuesday’s game against Porto,” explained the Coach.

“De Rossi will need to be monitored, as naturally he is still not at 100 percent, but Juan Jesus is back and will travel with us.

“Karsdorp has been more consistent defensively in the last few games – he’s really been working hard and has given us balance.

“Schick showed spirit and ruthlessness in the last game. Both could well start tomorrow.

“Zaniolo will start tomorrow as well. He’s looking fresh, mentally and physically. He still needs to improve – there are times where he could be even more decisive, but he’s still very young.”
