Roma director general Franco Baldini insists the project in the capital remains the same despite Sunday’s derby loss to Lazio.

The Biancocelesti completed the double over the Giallorossi this term with a controversial 2-1 win yesterday afternoon.

“We are obviously a little disappointed with the result,” the former Real Madrid and England assistant told Sky Sport Italia.

“However, we have no doubts at all about the future or our Coach Luis Enrique.

“Despite being a man down in the game, we didn’t give Lazio too many chances. We gave them a good game and almost got a draw right at the end.”

Roma started to have ambitions of a third-place finish after the 4-0 win over Inter last month.

However, they are now sixth in the table, 10 points behind third-placed Lazio after losing three out of four games since the Nerazzurri show.
