Roma will play Liverpool in a friendly at Fenway Park on July 25, as both clubs are owned by Boston investors.

Giallorossi majority shareholder Thomas Di Benedetto is also part-owner of the Fenway Sports Group, the parent company of both Liverpool and Boston Red Sox.

“During its 100-year history, Fenway Park has hosted some of the best in athletic competition,” said Fenway Sports Group’s principal owner John Henry.

Both Roma and Liverpool are set for summer tours of North America.
