Roma are ready to sign Ola Solbakken in January on a free transfer after agreeing a deal with the Bodo/Glimt winger, reports suggest.

The Giallorossi remembered the 24-year-old Norwegian well from their Europa Conference League clashes last season, where he scored three goals in two group stage games against Jose Mourinho’s side. These games were Solbakken’s best of the season, with the rest of his campaign derailed by ankle and shoulder injuries.

As reported by journalist Nicolo Schira, Roma are ready to sign Solbakken in January once his contract expires with Bodo/Glimt. The 24-year-old has agreed to put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year contract with the club worth around €1m net per season.

Solbakken recently returned for his shoulder issue, providing an assist in their 2-1 Europa League win over FC Zurich last week, and Mourinho is ready to welcome his new man.
