Roma have reportedly joined Juventus in the race to sign Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic.

He is expected to leave the reigning World and European club champions this summer with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski reducing his playing time.

Juve have long been linked with a bid for Mandzukic, although the Croatian international is also liked by Chelsea, Arsenal and his old club Wolfsburg.

According to the latest reports out of Croatia, Roma are diving into the race too.

The Giallorossi need reinforcements in attack if they are going to qualify for the Champions League and Mandzukic fits the bill.

He has scored 12 goals in 19 Bundesliga games this season, plus two in five Champions League appearances.

Bayern only signed Mandzukic from Wolfsburg in July 2012 for €13m.
