Roma are planning to take Juan Iturbe back from Bournemouth, only to loan him again to River Plate, say reports.

The 22-year-old striker was sent to the Premier League in January after failing to convince the Giallorossi with only one goal in 12 games.

It's still not entirely clear what his future is going to be, as he is due back with the Giallorossi at the end of the season.

According to Calciomercato.it, Coach Luciano Spalletti will evaluate whether Iturbe can still be useful to the club's cause.

Should he decide against keeping him, the player could be sent on a free loan to River Plate.

Roma are still keen on keeping control of the player's property, as he was their star transfer two years ago at €22m, and his value may well rise again.
