Talk of the Scudetto has surrounded the Giallorossi counting down to the 2014-15 campaign, including during final preparations in a pre-season training camp in Bad Waltersdorf, Austria.

“It has been a special retreat with a great enthusiasm from the fans,” club captain Totti has reflected to Kronen Zeitung this week.

“We have realised that, even if we have had to focus on the field on our work. But it is a nice feeling to feel so much support from the fans.

“This is the time where you build a team, and soon will begin the real games, the ones that count. And I think that at that point we will be ready.

“We have come to Austria to prepare for great things, a club like Roma must start always to win. We are in for a special season, we know.

“The Champions League? We want to do well there.”
