Roma hope the prospect of keeping Adem Ljajic and Dodo can convince Inter to hand over Marcelo Brozovic.

The Croatia international midfielder has already hinted he’s considering an exit if he doesn’t get more regular playing time.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Giallorossi have the upper hand over Inter when it comes to transfer negotiating.

This is because the Nerazzurri still owe €7m for wing-back Dodo – who is currently on loan at Sampdoria – and €11m if they decide to keep forward Ljajic.

It had already been reported earlier this week that Inter were prepared to let Ljajic go at the end of his loan spell because of the cost of his transfer on a permanent basis.

If Roma offer the opportunity to scrap those debts and add another €7m on top, they could well tempt Inter into selling Brozovic.

The 23-year-old is also reported to be in contract renegotiations at San Siro with differences already emerging.
