The pressure is continuing to mount on Jose Mourinho and Roma’s top management are ready to hold a conference call to discuss his future.

The Giallorossi suffered a painful 3-1 loss to Milan in their trip to San Siro on Sunday evening, a result that widens the gap between them and the vital Champions League qualification spots. Their Coppa Italia campaign came to a bitter end last week, when they fell to rivals Lazio in a 1-0 quarter-final loss.

Multiple media outlets reported on Monday morning that Roma were now starting to consider dismissing Mourinho following the run of poor results, open to bringing in former midfielder Daniele De Rossi in his place.

As reported by La Repubblica via TMW, Roma president Dan Friedkin is set to hold a conference call with his son Ryan, who works closely at the club, and CEO Lina Souloukou to discuss the future of Mourinho.

The Portuguese coach’s contract expires with the Giallorossi in the summer but now signs are starting to suggest that he might not see out the season in the Italian capital.
