Roma boss Zdenek Zeman says he was content with the performance of Panagiotis Tachtsidis in the 4-0 win over Zaglebie Lubin.

The summer signing from Genoa, via Verona, scored in the Chicago friendly following his arrival last week.

“He did some important things, but I know that he can do a lot better,” the Czech tactician noted. “Anyway, that is not important today.”

Zeman plays with an attacking 4-3-3 system, but he admits that there is still some work to do ahead of the new season.

“I liked our desire to create chances in the first half,” continued the summer arrival from Pescara. “We completed a few good moves and we won the game – even if that matters little.

“In the second half, meanwhile, we basically got everything wrong. You can't play as individuals in heat like this…”

Daniel Pablo Osvaldo, Erik Lamela and Bojan Krkic also scored for the capital club.
