This evening Ramos spoke to Brazilian site Lancenet and had a different version of the situation.
“There has been important progress and now we are down to details. There is a great chance Robinho could return to Santos.
“We are analysing everything calmly, considering the financial and sporting aspects, plus obviously the love Robinho has for Santos.
“I have always made it clear we were analysing every possibility without ruling anything out.”
It is believed to be a one-year loan deal for the 30-year-old, who had also been in talks with Orlando City, Flamengo, Olympiacos and clubs in Dubai.
