Milan forward Robinho has admitted that he has to play more football is he's to be picked for the Brazilian national team.

The Rossoneri striker started just nine League games last term, and the 29-year-old has conceded that to play at next year's World Cup, he'll have to spend more time on the pitch.

The Rossoneri striker started just nine League games last term, and the 29-year-old has conceded that to play at next year's World Cup, he'll have to spend more time on the pitch.

“The national team is always my goal,” he told Globo Esporte. “Last season I didn't play too much.

“I spent a lot of time on the bench and I did not deserve my call-up [for Brazil] in my opinion.

“I hope that 2014 is my year. My goal is to play at the World Cup.”
