The 20-year-old has broken into the Rossoneri side this season and he’s also been rewarded for his efforts with full international caps by Italy boss Cesare Prandelli.

“This is my first real season as part of the first team squad,” the young full-back commented. “I still need to gain a lot of experience, which I’ll get by playing games.

“What I have done so far has been appreciated, but I must keep working hard. I think I’ve given it my best this term though and shown that I want to prove myself.

“I’ve had a good campaign,” De Sciglio, used 24 times in Serie A during the campaign, added. “But I know that the road is long and I must improve in certain areas.”
