There are reports Frank Rijkaard has already agreed a contract with Milan to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

The Rossoneri are in crisis after losing 1-0 to Malaga in the Champions League this evening, meaning they have suffered six defeats in 11 official games this season.

The Coach insisted he wanted to remain on the bench and when questioned over whether he’d be there come Saturday against Genoa, he replied “you’d have to ask the club.

“I won’t resign, as that isn’t my style.”

Vice-President Adriano Galliani spoke to journalists after the defeat in Malaga and would only say: “I know you always ask the same thing. I’m not changing him.”

Up until now the only real option has been to promote assistant manager Mauro Tassotti if Allegri were to be sacked.

However, 7Gold are now reporting that a contract has already been agreed with former Holland manager Rijkaard.

He is an old hand at Milan, having played for Arrigo Sacchi’s team that conquered the world in the 1980s.

However, Rijkaard is also currently working as the manager of the Saudi Arabian national football team.

He has been the Coach of Holland, Sparta Rotterdam, Barcelona and Galatasaray.
