"I have played many games in the Champions League, but this is one of the most special," Riise wrote in his blog.
"It was an important game against a good team and we were already down 2-0 at half-time, but our second half was absolutely fantastic.
"Going down 2-0 at the interval was bitter. We had played better than them as they'd only had a couple of chances to score.
"But we went on the pitch after the break convinced that we could do it.
"It was such a beautiful game to play in. De Rossi's goal gave us a great push to win the game. We weren't satisfied with the draw.
"We were playing in a perfect way in the second half and the penalty that we got came from a wonderful pass from Totti.
"This game was so delightful. This game was so important. This is why I play football. Feeling these great moments, playing in these great teams in front of a brilliant crowd who support us in a wonderful way, well, it's something that makes me incredibly happy.
"We will keep going in the Champions League and I feel that we have a good enough team to go very far! I am tired, but very happy," he concluded.
